EPUB reader has empty TOC and lacks quick navigation options
When reading EPUB files, the Table of Contents (TOC) appears empty, and there's no way to navigate quickly through the book. The progression bar at the bottom is visible but not interactive, making it impossible to jump to different sections of the book without manually tapping through page by page.
Current behavior:
1. The TOC/chapter list is empty when opening an EPUB
2. The progression bar at the bottom of the screen is not interactive. If I tap on it, nothing happens
3. The only navigation option is to tap forward or backward one page at a time
4. There's no way to jump to a specific page number or section
Expected behavior:
- The TOC should display the EPUB's table of contents/chapter structure when available
- The progression bar should be interactive, allowing users to:
- Drag/slide to navigate quickly through the book
- Tap on different positions to jump to that location
- Ideally, there should be a way to input a specific page number to jump directly to it
Use case:
When reading longer EPUBs (novels, technical books, etc.), it's essential to be able to quickly navigate to different chapters or sections. Currently, if I want to go back to a previous chapter or skip ahead, I have to tap through potentially hundreds of pages one at a time, which is very tedious.
Impact:
This significantly reduces the usability of the EPUB reader compared to the comic reader, where navigation is much more flexible.
Notes:
I have two video recordings, one for Komga and one for Komic. In Komga we can see that the TOC has some contentSylvain C
