Add option to display series info by default on series page
Description:
Currently, when viewing a series page, we only see the title and the list of books. While series information (description, tags, genres, etc.) is accessible through the menu, I have to click the menu and open "Series Info" for every single series I want to view information about. It would be much more convenient to have an option to display this information by default on the series page.
Current behavior:
To view series metadata, I must:
1. Open a series
2. Click the menu button
3. Select "Series Info"
4. Repeat this process for every series
Use case:
When browsing my library, I often want to read the series description to remind myself what it's about or to decide if I want to start reading it. Having to go through the menu for every series is tedious, especially when browsing through multiple series on mobile.
Suggested implementation:
Add a setting that allows users to display series information directly on the series page (below the title) by default, with the option to select which fields to show:
- Series description/summary
- Tags
- Genre
- Other relevant metadata (writer, publisher, age rating, etc.)
This could be implemented as:
- A toggle in settings to "Show series info on series page"
- Checkboxes to select which specific fields to display
This would make the series page much more informative without requiring menu navigation for each series, while still giving users control over which information they want to see.
